A Jeep Wrangler struck a bicycle Wednesday at 72nd Avenue and Pecos Street in Adams County, reversed course and fled, the state patrol said. The bike rider survived.
The collision damaged a fog light housing on the front bumper of the dark blue or black vehicle, with an estimated model year of 2014-2016.
"Shortly after the bicyclist entered the crosswalk, the Jeep Wrangler attempted a right turn from eastbound 72nd Avenue to southbound Pecos Street and struck the bicyclist in the roadway," the patrol said. "The Jeep Wrangler stopped, reversed, and drove around the pedestrian, fleeing the scene."
