BICYCLIST KILLED IN AURORA

A bicyclist was killed Monday in Aurora, police said.

"At this time, this incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run, but we do not have a vehicle description," police said.

The accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. in the 1600-block of Powhaton Street near Jewell Avenue. A Good Samaritan stopped at the scene of the accident and told 911 "the bicyclist did not appear to have survived their injuries," police said.
