COPS SEEK SUV IN SHOOTING IN WESTMINSTER

Investigators are hunting for an SUV after a man was found lying in a street in Westminster with a gunshot wound to the head, the Adams County Sheriff's Office said.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of Elmwood Lane and Westchester Drive on Monday night. The victim, age 21, was transported to hospital. "Deputies learned that a dark-colored SUV was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed," the sheriff's office said.
