Steven Hudson was sentenced to 36 years in prison for attempting to run down a sheriff’s deputy during an undercover fentanyl bust in Limon, prosectors said.
Hudson, 32, of Crowley County, who has a lengthy criminal record, also pointed a handgun at Lincoln County deputies during the May 2025 crime.
"Hudson slammed into two vehicles before steering directly at an officer, narrowly missing him," prosectors said. "As officers entered the vehicle to arrest him, Hudson grabbed a handgun and pointed it at them.
"Officers quickly disarmed him and took him into custody after multiple Taser deployments," prosecutors said.
