Motorcycle crashes investigated by state troopers are twice as common on Saturdays and Sundays compared to weekdays, based on data going back to 2021, the Colorado State Patrol reports.
“Weekend rides often mean more traffic, longer trips, and riders pushing their limits on unfamiliar or winding roads,” said Matthew C. Packard, state patrol chief.
So far this year, I-25 and Highway 34 have led the state in weekend motorcycle wrecks.
