Firefighters raced 15 miles to reach a house fire Sunday night in a remote area of southeast Colorado.
The blaze occurred north of the town of Kim on Highway 109 in Las Animas County, the local fire department said.
No one was at home or hurt. The home was a total loss. La Junta Fire also responded.
