Firefighters saved a home from flames that erupted early Sunday in an outdoor barbecue grill in Garfield County. The occupants and their cat safely evacuated the premises at 1184 Heritage Drive, according to the Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District. "Crews had water on the fire in less than three minutes of arriving on scene and quickly extinguished the fire, then completed overhaul operations to confirm the fire had not extended into the residence," officials said.
