HERO NEIGHBOR SAVES TRAPPED FIRE VICTIM

An "incredibly brave" neighbor raced to a burning home and rescued a critically injured victim, the Colorado Springs Fire Department said.

The raging blaze broke out Tuesday at 2510 Cather Avenue. The hero neighbor is credited with "risking his own life to save theirs," the fire department said. He was transported to hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation. The fire victim was also transported to hospital. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
