WOMAN SAFE AFTER COPS CHASE POSSIBLE KIDNAPPER

UPDATE

An auto involved in a possible kidnapping on East Colfax Avenue in Aurora dodged police cars after a brief pursuit Tuesday.
"At approximately 12:31 p.m., a black male was seen dragging a white female toward a silver BMW sedan," police said. "The male then appeared to force the female into the back seat of the vehicle before the BMW drove away." The woman was " found safe" a few hours later, police said. They provided no other details. The incident started behind 9898 East Colfax Avenue, the address of the Martin Liher King Junior public library branch. The vehicle was last seen in the vicinity of 13th Avenue and Xapary Street and may have headed southbound on I-225 approaching Mississippi Avenue. [Photos: Aurora Police]
