A deputy shot a man carrying a knife in Commerce City on Monday, the Adams County Sheriff's Office said.
The incident - tied to a possible arson fire - occurred near 96th Avenue and the I-76 Frontage Road at about 7 a.m.
The suspect was transported to hospital. No one else was hurt. The deputy was placed on administrative leave, according to the sheriff's office.
