With the help of a drone, police located and arrested two men pointing guns at each other in south Boulder. One man was released. The other was detained - a felon with a gun and nearly 30 grams of drugs. He was also wanted by police in Denver.
A police drone responding to a 911 call arrived overhead in a minute and spotted the men in separate trucks stopped at a traffic light on Baseline Road near Broadway. Police identified the suspect as Quinn Sims, 38, of Commerce City. The incident occurred Wednesday.
