A Good Samaritan saved seven puppies dumped on a rural road east of Hugo in Lincoln County, the sheriff's office said. "The puppies appear to have been intentionally abandoned, which is a criminal act," the sheriff's office said Friday. "Thankfully, a community member took them in and provided them with a safe place to stay." They were huddling near County Road 43 and County Road 2W.
