The driver, identified as an adult male, is a convicted felon, police said. The arrest occurred Feb. 21 at a West Colfax Avenue service station. The suspect didn't put up a fight.
A police helicopter was called to help track the fleeing vehicle, which raced through downtown and traveled west on West 6th Avenue. It was first spotted on East Colfax Avenue.
