RAGING EARLY MORNING BLAZE GUTS HOME

Firefighters battled a raging blaze that roared through a home early Friday at Eastman Avenue and Bannock Street on Denver's southside. Flames leapt through the roof of the brick dwelling. "Crews arrived on scene with heavy fire and smoke showing," the Denver Fire Department reported. The structure was a total loss. There was no word on injuries.
