The FBI and Department of Homeland Security have joined the investigation into the disappearance of Aurora teen Erica Long, police said.
Long, 14, left her home near East Dry Creek Drive and South Gartrell Road at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 15 and was last sighted in the vicinity of E-470 and Gartrell.
"Our detectives continue to work diligently, following up on every lead, but we still don’t know where she is," Aurora police said. The missing teen, who also goes by the name of Ember, is 5-foot-4, 130 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair and a Henna tattoo on her left forearm. Long's family is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to her safe return, police said.
