UPDATE
Police announced Wednesday evening that missing Aurora teen Erica Long has been found safe in Las Vegas - and a suspect is in custody.
Long, 14, who also goes by the name Ember, was last seen on Father's Day.
"ERICA HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS SAFE," Aurora police said on social media just after 5 p.m.
Police also disclosed "a 26-year-old man was identified as being involved and detained. He gave investigators information that Erica was in Las Vegas, NV. Charges are pending against that man."
Las Vegas police and agents from the FBI's Las Vegas field office located the teen.
Colorado's Kremmling Police Department and Grand County Sheriff's Office played key roles in solving the case as did federal law enforcement, Aurora police said.
"The investigation is ongoing, with multiple jurisdictions," Aurora police said.
On Tuesday, Long's family issued a statement saying "Erica, we love you!" and appealing for her return. They also offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information on the teen's whereabouts.
Long left her home near East Dry Creek Drive and South Gartrell Road in Aurora at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation worked with Aurora police early on in the case. The CBI issued an "Endangered Missing Alert." The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also issued an alert.
