Denver area firefighters - and rescuers from across the US - are pressing in the grim search for victims of deadly flooding in Kerr County, Texas.
The extensive search area "contains heavy vegetation, and narrow canyons with many drainages and tributaries that are not easily accessible," according to Colorado Task Force 1 officials. "The damage to homes and buildings along the Guadalupe River is significant and includes a large debris field," the officials said. Estimates place the number of missing at about 100 and the number of dead at about 130 as a result of the July 4 disaster.
