Two youths - ages 14 and 16 - have been arrested as suspects in a shooting death and robbery in Aurora, police said.
The murder occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex in 100-block of Kenton Street on evening of July 21.
Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Jaylan Demetrious Moton, 20, of Thornton. Investigators allege "the two juvenile suspects lured Moton and a 21-year-old Aurora man to the parking lot with the intention of robbing them," police said. "The suspects also fired at the second victim, who was able to escape without injury."
Police withheld the suspects' name because they are minors. "The investigation is active and ongoing," police said. If you have information call Metro Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867.
