POLICE ESCORT FOR TARDY DJ

City Council members are assailing a decision to provide a police escort - its lights flashing - for a British entertainer whose flight landed late at Denver International Airport, a report says.

Among them, Stacie Gilmore, who told 9News: “To get someone who is physically well and able to a destination, that is not the use of the Denver Police Department in any way, shape or form.”

She represents the City Council district that includes DIA.

The entertainer, DJ Gorgon City, posted a video of the police escort racing on I-70 into the city to his Instagram page.
