UPDATE
The city will be dry and hot through Wednesday, the National Weather Service forecasts. Denver could see 97 Monday, 99 Tuesday and 100 Wednesday. The plains could see afternoon and evening thunderstorms Monday, 70 mph winds and 1-inch hail. Wildfire risk increases Tuesday over the mountains, higher valleys and South Park.
