Police hunted Thursday for an "armed and dangerous" attacker donned in cargo shorts in a shooting that critically injured a man in Lakewood.
The crime occurred Wednesday at 13th Avenue and Vance Street - and the suspect fled north on foot, police said. Authorities issued photos of him at an RTD light rail station. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 20s, last seen wearing brown cargo shorts, a green sweatshirt, black shoes and black socks.
