Two deputies were injured Tuesday when a gun accidentally discharged during training, the Weld County Sheriff's Office said.
"Towards the conclusion of training, while no longer on the firing line, and securing their gear, a deputy discharged their firearm and injured themselves and one other deputy," officials said. "Both deputies were taken to the hospital and sustained non-life-threatening injuries," officials said. The accident occurred at the Sam Brownlee Training Center, located in Carr.
