Swa Bay was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison for second-degree murder in the slaying of Denver community activist Ma Kaing, who was caught in the crossfire of a gun battle. Bay, 22, was the fourth and final defendant sentenced in the senseless tragedy three years ago, the Denver DA's Office said. He pleaded guilty last year.
