A police officer stopped a car for a broken headlight and arrested a man and woman for possession of meth.
The man was also carrying a prohibited gun - and there were outstanding arrest warrants for the pair, too.
The incident occurred Monday in the vicinity of West 121st Avenue in Broomfield.
"The man had a previous conviction for aggravated motor vehicle theft in Adams County which prohibited him from possessing a firearm," police said.
