No such thing as rush hour for this critter.
Members of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office helped a "very grumpy" 30-pound or 40-pound snapping turtle cross the street. (They didn't bother to check the highway truck scale.)
"Snapping turtles can deliver a serious bite," officials said. "Call Animal Protection or the Sheriff’s Office and let the professionals do the heavy lifting so we can keep on living our best turtle lives."
