Police are hunting for the driver of a red SUV that struck a scooter in downtown Denver and fled.
Two people were injured in the crash that occurred at the intersection of 18th and Welton streets at 2:12 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle was traveling north on Welton. The scooter was crossing Welton.
The SUV is believed to be a late model Nissan with Colorado tags.
