POLICE BLOTTER: SHOOTING IN DENVER; BRIGHTON MURDER; ATV WRECK IN HIGH COUNTRY

A person was shot and seriously injured Monday in the 1200-block of South Federal Boulevard in Denver, police said. A bicycle rider was injured Monday in a hit-and-run accident in the vicinity of 40th Avenue and Walnut Street in Denver, police said. In Fort Collins, police located a girl, age 13, who went missing Monday. She is unharmed. In Brighton, investigators now say a woman who was shot and killed and left in an abandoned vehicle was pregnant, CBS Colorado reports. The accused gunman - also a suspect in a carjacking, a shooting and a bullets-flying police chase - has been in custody since Thursday. In Summit County, a man died following an ATV crash on Glacier Ridge, an off-roading area near Georgia Pass, the sheriff's office said.
