WOMAN DEAD IN LODO HIT AND RUN; DRIVER FLED ON FOOT, SUSPECT ARRESTED

UPDATE A woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday at 16th and Market streets in Denver's popular Lodo partying district, reports said. A suspect, Milton McBride, was arrested in the 1700-block of Wazee Street and held for investigation of vehicular homicide, police said. The tragedy occurred at about 2:15 a.m. From the scene, Fox 31 reported the driver of the vehicle - a red pickup truck - fled on foot. The vehicle also struck an information kiosk. Police towed the truck.
