Police are seeking clues in a hit-and-run crash that fatally injured a man pushing a shopping cart in Aurora - and they are already in possession of key evidence.
Parts of the vehicle - most likely a dark-colored Chevy Impala, Malibu or Cruze sedan - were found at the scene, and it's likely the auto sustained damage to the front passenger side. The tragedy occurred on East Hampden Avenue just east of South Picadilly Street at about 6 a.m. on Oct. 1 and the suspect may have continued toward Gun Club Road, police said.
