The Colorado Department of Transportation issued a travel warning for people heading home from Thanksgiving - and everyone else.
"Cooler temperatures and snowfall beginning Sunday afternoon are anticipated to create slick driving conditions across the state through Monday morning," CDOT said. The National Weather Service reports: "Snow develops in mountains later this morning and becomes widespread and heavier this afternoon/eve. Bands of mainly light snow/flurries spread onto the plains late afternoon and eve."
