COPS RESCUE KIDS, ARREST MOTHER

Deputies located a missing woman from Oklahoma and her three children in El Paso County, the sheriff's office said Wednesday.

Danielle LeGrande, 30, was taken into custody Sunday.

The woman called 911 "stating people were following her and trying to kill her," the sheriff's office said. "During the call, LeGrande made several incoherent statements before abruptly ending the call."

LeGrande was found in Colorado Springs in the company of her three children - as well as a man - and "everyone involved was found safe and unharmed," the sheriff's office said.

She was admitted to hospital for a mental health evaluation and later booked into the El Paso County Jail on a no-bond warrant from police in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

"One of the children was released to their father at the scene," the sheriff's office said. "The other two children were taken to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, where they were placed in the care of the Department of Human Services."
