The Colorado State Patrol is warning drivers about the increased risk of wildlife collisions after 17 animal related mishaps last weekend in Clear Creek and Jefferson counties.
State troopers attribute the danger to the annual migration of many species as well as this month's shift to standard time.
"November is the peak rutting season," the patrol says. "It is also the peak month for wildlife-related crashes."

- 6 separate Vehicle(s) versus deer
- 2 Deer complaints
