CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE POLICE SEEK HIGHLINE CANAL TRASH CAN BOMBER

Police are seeking a nocturnal bomber suspected of planting homemade explosives in trash cans along the Highline Canal in Cherry Hills Village over the past two months.

Village police officials describe the bombs as "small" and "crude" and say the suspect rides a higher wattage E-bike with dark frame, wide tires and handlebar mittens.

The blasts typically occur after midnight and are considered "criminal mischief."

Police released fresh photographs Monday showing the suspect is of thin build, stands 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2, was wearing a wi
nter jacket, hiking or high-top shoes, gloves, a beanie, a utility belt with a tactical pouch - and goggles.
