NEIGHBORS' FEUD ENDS IN BLOODSHED

A man was shot dead early Wednesday in the final act of a neighborhood feud - and another was critically injured, the Weld County Sheriff's Office said.

The injured man told sheriff's deputies his neighbor kicked in a door brandishing "an object." A struggle ensued and he fatally shot the neighbor. The home is located in the 4200-block of Grand Teton Road. "The victim advised he has been in a long-standing feud with his neighbor," officials said.
