FIRE CREWS RESCUE WORKER IN TRENCH IN BRIGHTON

Firefighters rescued a worker from a trench at a construction site near Picadilly Road and East 112th Avenue in Brighton. "Crews worked together to safely extricate the individual and transported them to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries," Brighton Fire said. South Adams County Fire, Thornton Fire and North Metro Fire sent help. The Adams County Sheriff's Office also provided assistance at Wednesday's incident.
