FAKE COP ON PROWL IN MORGAN COUNTY TOWN

In the Morgan County community of Brush, police are investigating a report of a fake cop on the prowl.
"We do not take it lightly," the police department in the prairie town said Wednesday. The man - who identified himself as a "Brush investigator" - was said to be inquiring about a vehicle he purchased years ago. He was in a silver Ford Explorer - model year 2017-2019 - with temporary tags, and described as white, 5-foot-10, 220-240 pounds, facial hair, dark brown hair up top "with a fade with balding" and wearing a grey suit and "shiny black shoes."
