GREELEY FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE FAMILY'S DOG

Firefighters rescued a family's dog from a house fire in Greeley and the human occupants escaped without injury, the fire department said Sunday.

The canine "did not sustain any significant smoke inhalation," officials said. The fire broke out in the attic of the home near Highway 34 and 107th Avenue. Fire crews were hampered by limited water supply in the neighborhood and requested assistance from Windsor-Severance Fire and Front Range Fire. [Photo: Greeley Fire Department]
