POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN CRASH THAT KILLED TEEN IN THORNTON

Police arrested a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that killed a boy riding a motor bike in Thornton, officials said Sunday.

They also located the black BMW that struck the boy, age 14, from behind on northbound Huron Street near Thornton Parkway on Saturday night. The BMW fled northbound on Huron. "The suspect vehicle identified in the initial investigation has been confirmed as the vehicle involved in this fatal crash," officials said. The vehicle bore Colorado tag FBWX60, based license plate surveillance technology.
