DENVER ZOO'S JOEY IS OUT OF THE POUCH

The Denver Zoo's adorable Huon tree kangaroo joey is out of his mother's pouch and exploring the world beyond. "When this little guy was born in late July 2025, he was roughly the size of a jellybean," the zoo said. "He instinctively climbed up into Pearl's pouch where he spent the next several months growing and developing.

"Seven months later, he's exploring outside the pouch."
