Deputies saved a dog from bleeding to death after a fight with another canine in Bailey, the Park County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.
"Deputies knelt beside the injured pup, applying pressure bandages and doing everything possible to stop the bleeding and ease its pain," officials said.
"As animal control worked to secure emergency care with Crow Hill Animal Hospital, deputies continued providing lifesaving care, refusing to give up on the dog," officials said.
The incident occurred Tuesday night.
