DOGS THREATEN FIREFIGHTERS, BITE DEPUTY IN WELLINGTON

A pack of dogs threatened firefighters battling a house fire Friday in Wellington.

The "aggressive" canines were "in and around" the burning dwelling and a Larimer County deputy was bitten, according to the Wellington Fire Protection District.

Firefighters removed a resident from the home at 7902 Fourth Street. The resident was treated at the scene and released.
