HUMAN REMAINS DISCOVERED IN RURAL EL PASO COUNTY POND

Human remains were discovered Thursday in a drainage pond in Pinello Ranch in unincorporated El Paso County, the sheriff's office said. Deputies on horseback searched the area for clues. The site is near Highway 85. A utility worker found the remains, said Cassandra Sebastian, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office. "It's suspicious right now," Sebastian said.
