Fire gutted a home Monday night in Aurora. There were no human injuries, however, "a dog was found during the primary search and unfortunately has died," Aurora Fire Rescue said. The American Red Cross assisted six residents with housing and basic needs. The cause of the blaze in the 12000-block of East Nevada Place was under investigation, fire officials said.
