Authorities in Kansas arrested a suspect in a shooting at a Valentine's Day party in Denver that killed a man and wounded a woman, police said Tuesday.
The shooting, which stemmed from a fight, occurred in the 1500-block of West Maple Avenue at about 5:15 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was shot in the ankle.
Police identified the suspect as Yeanbraiker Yriarte-Valera, 20. No hometown was provided. The suspect was captured in Kansas City, Kansas.
