YOUTH DEAD IN I-76 CRASH IN COMMERCE CITY, DRIVER CHARGED

A youth suffered fatal injuries in a wreck on I-76 in Commerce City, police said Friday.

"The adult male driver is facing a number of charges to include Vehicular Homicide, DUI, Reckless Driving, and Child Abuse Resulting in Death," police said. The single-vehicle accident occurred Thursday. Elsewhere in the state, a woman died in a two-vehicle accident Thursday on Highway 40 east of Steamboat Springs, the state patrol said.
