SENIOR LIVING FACILITY BLAZE IN ARVADA; 1 INJURED

 

Fire forced the evacuation of a senior living facility Thursday in Arvada. One person was transported to hospital.

The blaze broke out on the second floor of Brookdale Meridian Arvada on West 59th Drive and an automatic sprinkler system extinguished the flames.
"One unit received fire damage, while two units received water damage," Arvada Fire said. "One resident was transported to a local hospital for evaluation with non-life-threatening injuries."
