HOUSE ENGULFED IN FLAMES IN LOVELAND

Firefighters battled a ferocious house fire in the 4500-block of West Eisenhower Boulevard in Loveland overnight.
There was no word on possible casualties. The home was apparently abandoned. Loveland Fire Authority said: "Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully engulfed residential structure and initiated a defensive strategy to contain the fire and protect surrounding properties. "Water supply operations include both a nearby fire hydrant and multiple water tenders," the fire authority said. The Berthoud Fire Protection District, Thompson Valley EMS and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office also responded. [Photos: Loveland Fire]
