Police in Cheyenne, Wyoming, arrested the parents of a 4-month-old baby boy who died after being airlifted to Children's Hospital in Aurora.
"Doctors confirmed the infant had fractures and life-threatening brain trauma, which appeared to be the result of physical abuse," police said. He suffered a seizure in August and was removed from life support in September.
In Colorado, the Adams and Broomfield County Coroner’s Office last month determined the cause and manner of death to be homicide, police said.
Joseph Hanson, 24, and Juliette Martinez, 23, face charges of first-degree murder and child abuse, police said. The were arrested Wednesday in Wyoming.
