THERAPY K9 JOINING CRISIS TEAM IN THORNTON


A therapy K9 named Donut will be joining Thornton's police co-responder team, which provides care at mental health emergencies. The therapy pup, one of the few in Colorado, is trained to "provide calm, comfort, and support," police said. [Photos: Thornton Police]
