[Photos: Aurora Fire video] Firefighters on ladders rescued residents from a raging 3-alarm fire overnight at an Aurora Apartment complex.
The blaze broke out at 797 North Dillon Way. Two people were transported to hospital suffering smoke inhalation, according to Aurora Fire.
"Despite aggressive interior fire attack, firefighters were forced to withdraw from the building and are fighting fire from the exterior," officials said at the height of the fire.
The inferno displaced about 50 residents.
